Floor Supervisor
FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports to: Chief Operations Officer
Supervises: Cafe Server, Barista, Cook, Dishwasher, Cashier
As a Floor Supervisor, you will oversee our restaurant's daily operations, ensuring that our customers receive the best service possible. Your role is key in maintaining the smooth running of the establishment, managing staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Job Details
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Maintain high levels of customer service and handle customer complaints effectively

Manage staff schedules and organize shifts

Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed

Organize and supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of the dining area and kitchen

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food

Oversee inventory, including ordering and stocking of supplies

Train new employees and provide ongoing training for all floor staff

Proficient in basic computer applications and restaurant management software
Experience & Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality or management is preferred

Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry

Strong understanding of restaurant management and operational procedures

Experience in customer service management
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds

Comfortable working in a fast-paced and potentially high-pressure environment

Ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously
